What is StockX Balance?

StockX Balance is a payout method for US sellers that stores sales proceeds directly in your StockX Wallet, where funds can be used for purchases or withdrawn at any time. Sellers who apply StockX Balance to eligible purchases earn 5% in rewards credits. StockX Balance is currently available only to US users on web and iOS.

Sellers in the United States are required to use StockX Balance as their payout method. Before placing an Ask, you must agree to the StockX Balance Terms and Conditions and enable your StockX Wallet.

What is the StockX Wallet?
Your StockX Wallet shows your Total Buying Power, which is the sum of all your stored value methods. Total Buying Power may include gift cards, StockX Credit, and your StockX Balance.

How do I set up my StockX Balance?
Before setting up StockX Balance, you must have a credit card with a US billing address added to your account and your currency must be set to USD.
  1. Go to your Account page and select Wallet.
  2. Locate the StockX Balance section under Selling and select Set Up.
  3. Enable Two-Step Verification and agree to the StockX Balance Terms and Conditions.
  4. Once setup is complete, payouts will go directly to your StockX Balance.
You can also set up StockX Balance during checkout when selling an item by selecting "Set Up" under the Payout section.

Please note: If you already have a Hyperwallet account, StockX Balance setup will be located under the withdrawal method.

How do I check my StockX Balance?
Click "View" on your StockX Balance from either the Total Buying Power section or the Payout Method section to access your Balance details page. The Balance details page shows your Total Balance (current balance including pending transactions) and Available Balance (the amount that can be withdrawn or used for purchases).

How do I use my StockX Balance to purchase?
When purchasing an item, your StockX Balance can be applied to the order total at checkout. StockX Balance is applied after any gift cards or credits and before your credit card or other payment methods. Once your order is complete, the Order Details page in the Buying section of your account will show a breakdown of your order and expected rewards credit. Rewards credit is issued once the item ships from StockX to the address on your order.

Can I place an Offer using StockX Balance?
Yes. Your StockX Balance will be auto-applied to any new Offers you place. StockX will charge the final amount to your StockX Balance when your Offer is accepted.


What is StockX rewards credit?
Once you have received your first payout, you can earn 5% in rewards credits by applying your StockX Balance to an eligible purchase at checkout. Rewards credits are calculated on the item price and processing fee; shipping and taxes are excluded. Rewards credits are issued to your account once the item ships to you and expire after 1 year.

To view rewards credits earned, click "View" in the Credits section of your StockX Wallet.

Please note: Two-Step Verification must be enabled on your StockX account to use StockX rewards credits.

How do I withdraw from my StockX Balance?
On your StockX Balance transactions page, click Withdraw below your Available Balance. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw, up to your full available balance, then click Confirm. Withdrawals are processed to your default payout method in Hyperwallet and will appear as pending until the request has been processed. This may take up to 6 hours or more, depending on any verification requirements.

Why is my StockX Balance inactive?
StockX Balance is only available to users in the United States receiving payouts in USD. Your StockX Balance will become inactive if your billing address changes to a non-US country or your currency changes to a non-USD currency. If your StockX Balance becomes inactive, you can still request a withdrawal, but you will not be able to make purchases or receive payouts to your balance.

Why can't I withdraw from my StockX Balance?
Withdrawals and other features may be unavailable for several reasons, including Two-Step Verification being disabled or regulatory verification being required. A banner on your StockX Balance transactions page will indicate the steps needed to regain access. Once you complete the required steps, access will be restored automatically.

Access to all or part of StockX Balance may also become unavailable if StockX suspects actions that violate the StockX Terms and Conditions or pose a threat to the StockX Marketplace. Access will be reinstated after manual review.

Why am I being prompted to complete regulatory verification?
To comply with applicable laws and regulations, StockX may require additional information to continue using the StockX Balance service. Go to the IDs and Verifications section of your Profile in Account, where you will be directed to a window powered by a third-party provider to enter the required details.

Failure to complete this verification within 10 days may result in your StockX account being suspended. If your account cannot be verified, StockX may terminate or suspend your StockX Balance and/or StockX account.

Can I opt out of StockX Balance?
No. Sellers in the United States are required to use StockX Balance as their payout method in the StockX Wallet.
