StockX Balance allows eligible Sellers to store earnings from sales in their StockX Wallet. Sellers can earn 5% StockX rewards credit by using that balance to purchase on StockX. Payouts for your sold products are available in the StockX Wallet immediately and can be withdrawn at any time.
Please note: StockX Balance is currently available only to StockX users in the United States on web and iOS.
Select Sellers are required to utilize StockX Balance as their payout method in the StockX Wallet. Before placing an Ask, you must agree to the StockX Balance Terms and Conditions and enable StockX Wallet. Once set up, your payouts will go to your StockX Wallet and can be withdrawn at any time
What is the StockX Wallet?
Your StockX Wallet shows your “Total Buying Power”, which is the sum of your total stored value methods. This may include gift cards, StockX Credit, and your StockX Balance.
How do I sign up for StockX Balance?
In the Wallet, eligible Sellers will see the ability to sign up for StockX Balance in the payout method section. If you already have a Hyperwallet account set up, this will be located under the withdrawal method. You need to have a selling credit card added with a billing address in the United States. Your currency should also be set to USD.
To set up StockX Balance, go to your Account page and select Wallet. Locate the StockX Balance section under Selling, and select Set Up. From there, you will need to enable Two-Step Verification and agree to the StockX Balance Terms and Conditions. Once setup is complete, you will be able to receive your payouts to your StockX Balance.
You can also set up Seller Balance when selling a product on StockX by selecting “Set Up” underneath the Payout Section of the checkout.
How do I check my StockX Balance?
Click “View” on your StockX Balance, either from the Total Buying Power section or from your Payout Method section, and you will be taken to your Balance details page. On this page, you can see the Total Balance and Available Balance. The Total Balance is the current balance, including pending transactions, while the Available Balance is the amount of your current balance that can be withdrawn or used for purchases.
How do I use my StockX Balance to purchase?
When purchasing an item, you can apply your StockX Balance to the order total at checkout. Your StockX Balance will be applied to your order after any applied gift cards or credits and before your credit card or alternative payment methods. Once your order is completed, you’ll see a breakdown of your order as well as your expected rewards credit on the Order Details page of the Buying section of your account. Rewards credit will be issued once your item has shipped from StockX to the address on your order.
Can I Place a Bid With StockX Balance?
Yes, you can place a bid using your StockX Balance. Your StockX Balance will now be auto-applied to any new bids you place. We will charge the final amount to your StockX Balance when your bid is accepted. For more information on bidding with StockX Balance, please visit our FAQ

What is StockX rewards credit?
Once you’ve received your first payout, you can start earning 5% in rewards credits by applying your StockX Balance to an eligible purchase in checkout. Rewards credits are issued to your account once your item ships to you and are calculated on the item price and processing fee - shipping and taxes are excluded from earning rewards credits. StockX rewards credit has an expiry of 1 year. You can see any rewards credit earned by clicking “view” in the Credits section of your StockX Wallet. Please note that two-step verification must be enabled on your StockX account in order to use StockX rewards credit.
How do I withdraw from my StockX Balance?
On your StockX Balance transactions page, you will see a Withdraw button below your Available Balance. Upon clicking Withdraw, you will be shown a modal where you can enter the amount you wish to withdraw, up to your full available balance, before clicking confirm.
Withdrawals are processed to your default payout method in Hyperwallet. A withdrawal will appear as pending on your Balance transactions page until the request has been processed successfully. This process can take up to 6 hours or longer, depending on any verification requirements needed to process your payout.
Why is my StockX Balance Inactive?
StockX Balance is currently only available to users in the United States receiving payouts in USD currency. Your StockX Balance will become inactive if your billing address changes to a non-US country and/or your currency changes to any other StockX available currency not USD. Once your StockX Balance becomes inactive, you will still be able to request a withdrawal, but you will not be able to make purchases or receive payouts to your balance.
Why can’t I withdraw from my StockX Balance?
Withdrawals and other features of your StockX Balance may be unavailable for several reasons, including two-step verification being disabled on your StockX account or regulatory verification being required. On your StockX Balance transactions page, you will see a banner informing you of the necessary steps to take in order to regain access to these features. Once you complete the necessary steps, access will be restored to your account automatically.
As stated in the StockX Balance Terms and Conditions, access to all or part of the StockX Balance feature will also become available in the event StockX suspects any actions taken are in violation of the StockX Terms and Conditions and/or pose a threat to the StockX Marketplace. Access to your StockX Balance will be reinstated after manual review.
Why am I being prompted to complete regulatory verification?
In order to comply with applicable laws and regulations, StockX may require you to provide additional information in order to continue using the StockX Balance service. You can access this verification by going to the IDs and Verifications section of your Profile in Account, where you will be taken to a window, powered by our third-party provider, to input the necessary details.
Failure to complete this verification within the required timeframe (10 days) may result in your StockX account being suspended. If your account cannot be verified, StockX may terminate or suspend your StockX Balance and/or StockX account.
Can I opt out of StockX Balance?
Select Sellers are required to utilize StockX Balance as their payout method in the StockX Wallet. Other Sellers may not be required to utilize StockX Balance, but once you sign up, you must use StockX Balance as your payout method moving forward.
