What is Store at StockX?

Store at StockX is a delivery option that lets eligible buyers purchase items directly into StockX-managed storage, take ownership after verification, and resell without taking physical delivery. After verification, ownership transfers to your account while StockX retains physical custody of the item in a Flex facility. You can relist the item for sale or request delivery at any time. Plus, Store at StockX users benefit from reduced fees.

Eligibility
  • Store at StockX is available only to select users in the United States who have been enabled with StockX Pro Buying. Access is granted by StockX and is not open for general enrollment.
  • To request access, join the waitlist. StockX will reach out when the feature becomes available to your account.

Eligible items
At launch, only select Sneaker and Apparel items on StockX are eligible for purchase, storage, and resale using Store at StockX. Only eligible items will display the Store at StockX delivery option at checkout in StockX Pro. Additional eligibility may depend on product type, category, and operational requirements.

How Store at StockX works
  1. If eligible, select Store at StockX as your delivery option at checkout in StockX Pro.
  2. The seller ships the item to a StockX verification center, where the item is verified and ownership is transferred to your account. If the item is already in Flex, ownership transfers directly.
  3. The item appears in the Unlisted section of your Flex tab in StockX Pro. You will receive a notification when the item is ready to list or sell.
  4. From the Inventory tab in StockX Pro, you can list the item for sale, place an Offer, or request delivery to your address on file at any time.

Fees
When purchasing an item using Store at StockX:
  • You pay the order subtotal at checkout.
  • Shipping and buyer processing fees are waived unless you request physical delivery.
  • Sales tax treatment is determined by New Jersey tax law and varies by item type. If sales tax applies, a "Sales Tax" line item will appear at checkout. If sales tax does not apply, the line item will appear crossed out and will only be charged if you request physical delivery through the Flex Returns process.
  • Standard Flex storage fees apply once the item is available for trading in Flex inventory.
  • Please note: No fee resale does not apply to items stored through Store at StockX.

Requesting delivery
To have a stored item shipped to your address on file:
  • Go to the Inventory section of StockX Pro and select the item or items you want shipped.
  • Select the Request Return button.
  • Review the items and return cost on the Item Return screen.
  • Select "Submit Return Request."
Please note: When you request delivery, a deferred buyer fee, shipping fee, and applicable sales tax based on your delivery address will apply. All fees are shown before you confirm the return request.

Cancellations
Store at StockX orders cannot be canceled after verification is complete. If you no longer want a stored item, you can relist the item for sale on the marketplace.

Damage or loss
In the rare event of damage or loss while an item is under StockX custody, Customer Service will review the situation and apply appropriate resolution consistent with StockX policies.

Default purchase settings
When you change your default address in StockX Pro, all Offers and Buy Now purchases placed after that change will reference the updated address.
