To comply with Mexican customs requirements, StockX is required to collect your full name and CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) for all shipments to Mexico. This information is necessary to ensure your shipment clears customs smoothly.
What is a CURP?
The CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) is used to individually register all persons residing in Mexico, including Mexican nationals and foreigners, as well as Mexican nationals living abroad in other countries.
How do I enter my CURP?
You’ll be prompted to verify your information at checkout if a CURP is required. Please follow the steps provided within the verification flow:
- Confirm your Citizenship/Residence Status
- Provide your first name, last name and CURP
Once successfully added, you’ll receive confirmation that your verification is complete. Please ensure that you have entered your CURP correctly prior to submitting, as failure to do so may result in delays at customs.
Bear in mind that you will be unable to proceed with your purchase until you have provided your CURP.
I have already provided my RFC. Do I need to provide my CURP as well?
No, if you have already provided your RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) ID when selling on StockX, you will not need to enter your CURP. The RFC is sufficient for customs clearance.
How do I update my CURP information?
You must update your CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) in person. To locate the CURP module closest to you, please consult the directory of available modules at: CURP Modules Directory
What happens if I don't provide my CURP?
Failure to provide your CURP may result in delays or failure of the shipment's customs clearance process. To avoid any disruptions, please ensure that your information is up-to-date before purchasing or placing a Bid.
