A collab that will be remembered as a watershed moment in modern sneaker culture, Jordan Brand and French fashion house Dior linked up to release two of the most luxurious Jordan 1s ever to be constructed. The collaboration first debuted during the Dior Fall 2020 runway show in 2019, creating buzz around the sneakerā€™s impending release. Many were unsure of the collaboration ever seeing a public drop because of Diorā€™s high-fashion status and the rarity of the label working on an athletic trainer. But through an official raffle on Diorā€™s site, the Jordan 1 collaboration finally saw the light of day. The Jordan 1 Dior is the perfect marriage of sport and luxury, highlighting both Jordanā€™s amazing feats in basketball and Diorā€™s unique strides in fashion.

For this weekā€™s Details, we feature the low cut Air Jordan 1 Dior, the counterpart to the equally popular Jordan 1 High. In a similar fashion to its high cut partner, the Dior Low features smooth grey and white high-grade leather. From there, the Nike Swoosh is decked out in an embroidered fashion, printed with Diorā€™s iconic monogram. The tongue tag and heel are both stamped with ā€œAir Diorā€ branding, showing the merging of the two labels. To tie it all together, the sneaker holds a transparent icy blue sole revealing the words DIOR underneath.Ā

The Air Jordan 1 Dior Low was limited to only 13,000 pairs, but even still, you can find the sneaker available on StockX in every size.
