Ben & Jerry’s upcoming collaboration with Nike SB will be the hottest release of 2020, and we stand by that! Check out what else is dropping this week for our latest edition of Drop List.
Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky”
A big scoop of flavour comes packed in Nike’s highly anticipated drop with the famous Ben & Jerry’s. Yes, that’s right, Ben & Jerry’s.
Despite the unconventional nature of this collaboration, the sneaker stays true to Nike SB’s drive for innovative and bold designs. This Nike SB Dunk Low features a hairy cow print upper, hits of Ben & Jerry’s ubiquitous tie-dye motif, and a dripping yellow leather Swoosh to represent a melting ice cream cone.
Expect a limited run of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” to hit skate shops on May 23rd and a wider release on the SNKRS app on the 26th for £89.95.
Air Jordan 4 Metallic Pack
The upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Metallic” pack takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 1 “Metallic” pack back in 1985. Each colourway from the pack will release in different regions, with The “Court Purple” pair dropping stateside this week.
The Air Jordan 4 “Metallic” pack is as clean of a summer shoe as they come, featuring an entirely white tumbled leather upper with subtle hits of purple, pine green, orange and university red. Just like the 1985 Air Jordan 1 Metallic pack that it takes cues from, each pair lets the small hints of colour do the talking. It’s one of the calmer colourways to hit an Air Jordan 4 and fans of the Classic Green pair from 2004 will gravitate towards the Pine Green Metallic pair in the pack.
The Air Jordan 4 “Metallic” pack releases on May 20th in the US, with further regional sneaker releases to follow.
Nike Dunk Low Brazil (2020)
2020 is the year of the Dunk. From the release of the Plum Low from earlier this year to the more recent Kentucky and Syracuse colourways, the popular basketball model has had quite the spotlight. Now, Nike is bringing back another fan favourite: the “Brazil” colourway from 2001.
The latest in a long line of Nike Dunk Low sneaker releases, this model stays true to OG design. The upper is entirely made up of yellow and green leather to represent the South American country’s flag. From there, the white midsole breaks up the two colours, while the green outsole completes the sneaker.
The Nike Dunk Low “Brazil” drops on the SNKRS app and select retailers on May 21st for £84.95.
Tokyo Design x New Balance RC_1300 “Marble Blue”
The New Balance RC_1300 model comes back for a second go since its April 2020 release. The trail and athletic fusion sneaker has been one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes, as their multicolour patchwork RC_1300 sold out within minutes of its release on their site.
The New Balance RC_1300 features a buttery blue suede upper with hits of grey leather on the heel, tongue, and “N” logo. The upper is met by a split white midsole and trail-ready, black rugged outsole.
Look for the New Balance R_C1300 to hit select retailers and New Balance’s site on May 23rd for £170.
Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN Triple Black
The Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN Triple Black makes a comeback after its initial February release. Yeezy and adidas continue to deliver restocks of many of their most popular colourways, with the Azalea 700v3s and Yeezyreel 350v2s also restocking last week.
The Triple Black 700 MNVN takes all of the cues from the popular 700 model and crafts a unique twist. The sole and midsole all remain the same, and each shoe is still equipped with BOOST technology for extra comfort. The striking change comes from the sneaker’s upper, featuring an embolden 3M “700” across the side panels and other reflective accents from the toe box to the heel.
The Yeezy 700 MNVN returns on May 23rd, releasing on both adidas and Yeezy Supply sites for £179.95.
