After what seems like an eternity, Travis Scott and Nike are finally releasing the much anticipated Nike Air Max 270 React Travis Scott just in time for summer. Check out everything dropping this week in our latest edition of The Drop List.
Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 React
It’s lit! Travis Scott and Nike are back once again to deliver their newest offering, the Nike Air Max 270 React Travis Scott. We have seen the Jordans, Air Force 1s, SB Dunk, and now we are getting the very first Air Max silhouette with the Cactus Jack stamp of approval.
Following a trail hiking theme, the Air Max 270 React Travis Scott is composed of a light cream upper with grey and brown leather overlays and red detailing. A yellowed midsole and Air Max unit, orange Swoosh, and Cactus Jack branding on the heel tab complete the design.
The Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 React drops at select stockists and the SNKRS app on May 29th at a retail price of £149.95. A full list of stockists is available on the Cactus Trails website.
Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy” 2.0
To celebrate the Air Max 95’s 25th anniversary, Nike has unleashed the sequel to 2015’s “Greedy” colourway. Built on a premium leather and suede base, the right “Greedy 2.0” shoe is accented with “Aqua” and “Hot Red” with “Volt” at the eyelets and Nike Air bubble, while the left shoe infuses “Slate Blue” across the lacing system and midsole.
Like its predecessor, the upper is dipped in “Gunsmoke” and “Grey Fog” and highlighted with black around the mudguards, injecting a touch of calm to an otherwise wacky aesthetic.
The Air Max 95 “Greedy” 2.0 releases on June 1st on SNKRS and at select retailers for £159.95.
Converse Renew Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP
A total of 108,000 textile items have been saved from landfills so far by the Converse Renew program. This week, Converse continues its upcycling mission with the help of Carhartt and UK-based vintage retailer Beyond Retro to release the Converse Renew Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP. For this collaboration, 1,000 pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, pants, and overalls were sourced and sorted into three colour ranges: navy, brown, and black. From there, the canvas was cut into Chuck 70 silhouette patterns and assembled in a multi-panelled design.
The Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP consists of a multi-panelled vintage canvas upper with white stitching and detailing. Carhartt branded patches are embroidered on the front of each tongue while Converse branding appears on the reverse side. A white sole with co-branded detailing on the heel completes this upcycled design.
Look for the Converse Renew Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP to be available on May 28th in limited quantities at select retailers, Carhartt-WIP.com, and Converse.com.
