The Air Jordan 1 Zoom Racer Blue is easily one of the most detailed kicks of 2020. Nike added their Zoom cushioned technology into Jordan Brand’s most popular silhouette and the results were fire. This isn’t the first time the Swoosh is bringing Zoom comfort to the Jordan 1, with 2019’s Fearless pair originally debuting the technology. 2020’s Racer Blue brought back the Zoom silhouette in a brighter shade and bolder color gradient.
From afar, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Racer Blue looks like your typical Jordan 1 silhouette. But move in closer and you can see that there is so much more than what the usual high top sneaker has to offer. The upper mixes grey and white patent leather, tumbled leather, and breathable mesh all in one. “Zoom” branding is shown throughout on the shoe from the tag stitched on the side, to it even replacing the word “Air” on the tongue tab. The greatest detail of all is the sole, showcasing red and blue ombre detailing.
