February was a huge month for streetwear. Nearly every big brand carried on StockX dropped a new collection in some capacity. The seasonal giants, Supreme and Palace, came through with two huge first weeks and BAPE delivered a collaboration with adidas in celebration of the Super Bowl. Alongside the giants, there were several newly added brands and collaborations that moved the needle for our streetwear catalog this month. Scroll down to check them out and don’t forget to click the photos to shop.

Nike MMW

We were able to add two new Nike collaborations this month, continuing what’s been a hot streak of collaborative releases by the sportswear brand. The first added collaboration marked Nike’s second delivery of a Matthew Williams designed, Alyx-like capsule. Fresh off Paris Fashion Week and a killer Alyx show, the former Been Trill member brought his techwear focused aesthetic back to Nike for another capsule collection. The capsule originally released via the Alyx site on February 2nd and then hit a wider release a week later. Highlights from the collection are the Camouflage Balaclava and the Longsleeve Camo Shirt. Shop the whole collection here.

Heron Preston x Nike

Matt Williams wasn’t the only former “Been Trill” member to have a new capsule collection added to our catalog. Heron Preston, designer of his own namesake label which ran its first show at Paris Fashion Week this year, also collaborated with Nike on a football-themed capsule that released a day before the Super Bowl. Priced far lower than the label’s traditional collaborations (a Heron Preston Carhartt Tee will run you $270 USD at HBX), Heron Preston presented both apparel and proper football gear. Highlights included the hat, short sleeve hoodie, and football, while the gloves released in the collection marked the third set of football gloves added to StockX since December. Perhaps football is going to become the dominant sport influencing streetwear. Shop the collaboration here.

OVO Bearbricks

OVO Bearbrick

Is OVO becoming more than just Drake’s merch-style brand? After their recent release of a collaboration with Takashi Murakami, OVO is back with yet another collaboration that sold out almost instantly. This time, it’s a black collectible Bearbrick that features the OVO Owl on its chest. The Bearbrick was released in a 100% and 400% size set as well as a 1000%. Shop the Bearbricks here.

FTP x DC

In December, we added FTP’s entire collection which was followed shortly by their collaboration with Undefeated. In February, FTP came through with yet another collaboration, this time with skateboarding brand, DC. Despite collaborating with a skateboarding company, it was snowboarding gear that FTP and DC came together for. The drop was announced via the above Instagram post and featured two colorways of an anorak, two colorways of bib snow pants, a hoodaclava, a white pullover, a black jacket, and white mittens. Evian by Virgil Abloh

Evian by Virgil Abloh x SOMA

You’d think that Virgil Abloh has enough going on. He still runs his own brand, OFF-WHITE, and he’s been making waves as Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. On top of all of that, he still finds time to DJ all around the world and come together with unlikely brands for collaboration. This month, his partners were mineral water brand, Evian, and sustainable water bottle company, SOMA. The collaboration resulted in four water bottles featuring Evian branding and Virgil’s emblematic quotation marks around the words “Rainbow Inside”. Shop the water bottles here.

Astroworld DSM

Travis Scott refuses to slow down with his merch releases as he brought yet another collection to life via Dover Street Market in February. Featuring totally new items derived from themes based on his hit album, Astroworld, Travis is seemingly attempting to fill our artist merch category all by himself. Shop the full drop here.

OFF-WHITE x The Simpsons

Last summer, at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh showed his OFF-WHITE SS19 collection which drew headlines for its inclusion of a certain animated character, Bart Simpson. Now, as we approach the spring, the Simpsons capsule is being released and we’ve pulled together all of the releases so far to be shopped in one place. Shop OFF-WHITE’s The Simpson’s capsule here.

Bianca Chandon

When looking at brands in the streetwear space, it’s more often than not that the brand was founded by somebody with roots at Supreme. Noah’s founder, Brendon Babenzien, worked at Supreme. Awake founder, Angelo Baque, worked at Supreme. Jason Dill, founder of Fucking Awesome, is also a prominent member of the Supreme extended universe. One of our recent adds is one of the lesser known Supreme relatives, Bianca Chandon by Alex Olson. In 2016, one of their most popular hoodies appeared on Frank Ocean in his wildly colorful and provocative music video for “Nikes”. The hoodies, featuring the word “LOVER” on the front, have become grails all themselves. On Valentines day, Bianca Chandon released a “LOVER” capsule featuring hoodies, a crewneck, tees, sweatpants, and shorts. Shop the drop here.
