Goldin now calls New York home and is a perfect pairing with the streetwear giant. Known for her raw and intimate photography, she explores controversial topics through her camera lens. Her style developed from joining a hippie commune as a teenager, there exploring her interest to record life’s moments, especially after her sister’s suicide. Drugs, intimacy and the LGBT lifestyle were all themes in her work and continue to be her most popular works to date. Arguably her most popular image we see the Misty and Jimmy Paulette photo as the main feature. Taken in a taxi cab in 1991 the focus of the image are two drag queens.
