Milan Fashion week has already been a show-stopping whirlwind with JLo taking the internet by storm and closing out the Versace RTW Spring 2020 show in a reworking of her skin-baring jungle printed Versace dress she wore to the 2000 Grammys. There’s just something about Italian fashion that gets us feeling excited and nostalgic, especially when it comes to bags. Here our hottest handbag picks from Gucci, Prada, and more.

Prada RTW Spring 2020

It was all about the details at Prada, and they certainly did not disappoint with their uber sophisticated and minimalist vibes. The RTW collection featured a bevy of the brand’s classic handbag designs with a focus on clean lines and rich textures; truly an homage to all Prada Stans; including  A$AP Rocky, who was sitting front row.

Gucci RTW Spring 2020

Gucci’s Spring RTW 2020 collection was creative director Alessandro Michele’s most controversial show to date – with 21 models emerging onto the runway each wearing a straitjacket. The 70s S&M style collection featured an eclectic array of chain-ladden, Olsen style oversized sunglasses and a wide variety of leather, snakeskin and monogram style satchels.

Fendi RTW Spring 2020

Fendi is still getting this bread during fashion week with its legendary baguette bag. The RTW collection featured a slew of upbeat, funky fits inspired by an “Italian summer” as creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi described. The baguette bag was reborn into girly prints and knitted, fur trimmed silhouettes – debuting a vibrant new era of the cult-fave.

Bottega Veneta RTW Spring 2020

In an unexpected turn of events, Bottega Veneta has taken over the entire season with its ever popular “Pouch” bag – With Daniel Lee’s second show as the creative director for the Italian luxury brand, “New Bottega” is in full force; square-toe heels and all. The RTW collection debuted new additions to the original Pouch clutch as well, with envelope silhouettes and styles with brass chain handles.
