Rolex Daytona 116506

For most, a Rolex Daytona is already at a high price, averaging around $21K for the famed timepiece. But in 2013, Rolex introduced the 116506 version of the chronograph to commemorate the model’s 50th anniversary. While most Daytonas are more subtle black and white colors, this update features an ice blue dial paired with a brown ceramic bezel. But what puts this watch over the top is its bracelet, constructed of 95% pure platinum. If you have the wallet and wrist strength to take on this watch, the Rolex Daytona 116506 is currently going for $67,500.

Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980-1R-001

Just when you thought Patek Philippe watches couldn’t get more expensive, we introduce to you the Nautilus 5980. Since 1976, the Nautilus model has been breaking necks, offering an array of shapes to fit the classiest of lifestyles, all while remaining a true sports watch. This piece in particular comes with chronographic features and a sapphire crystal case back. Despite its original MSRP of $88,230, demand is outweighing supply and this watch is currently going for a whopping $169,900.

Hublot Mp 02 Key of Time King Gold

If his royal highness wore a watch, the Hublot MP 02 Key of Time King Gold would be it. Comprised of 512 pieces, this Hublot is a watch that emphasizes detail with its brushed 18K gold case and circular opening of the watch’s movement at the six hour mark. Limited to only 30 in the world, copping this bad boy is going to cost you $212,750 but rightfully marks your place on the throne.

Rolex Daytona 116595RBOW

The crown for the most expensive, and also most flashy, goes to another Daytona. It’s colloquially known as the ‘Rainbow’ probably to help lead you to the pot of gold to pay for this watch. This Daytona is as peacock-ish as it gets, featuring 36 baguette-cut sapphires in every color you can think of…and that’s just on the bezel! It’s got 18K pink gold crystals and 56 cut diamonds on the case, and this is all on your wrist! Just like the Hublot, this watch was also limited in production, which adds to its resale value of $350,000.
