Supreme Buju Banton Tee Green

The Supreme Buju Banton Tee continues the streetwear brand’s long history of showcasing musical artists and their always popular photo tee series. For Spring/Summer 2019 the New York-based brand put its focus on Jamaican musician, Buju Banton. Born in Jamaica, he gained popularity in the 90’s thanks to two albums, Stamina Daddy and Mr. Mention, the latter is the all-time best seller in Jamaica. With his reggae and dancehall style, he was heavily influenced by Rastafari faith. His lyrical wordplay intertwined conscious moments with a Jamaican feel and dancehall beats. Over the years he has collaborated with multiple artists with a similar mindset as Banton. This photo tee is one of two t-shirts that feature the musician. Seen here in kermit green, the tee was available in nine color options. The classic all-cotton Supreme tee was the foundation with the main focus being the printed photo onto the chest. There we see an image of the Buju in the iconic white Supreme tee with red box logo. On the back, we see a message from Buju to Supreme and the world. To no surprise, all colors of the photo tee sold out quickly when they released on June 27th. The Supreme Buju Banton Tee was a fantastic way for the brand to commemorate 25 years. The marketplace should be your destination to check for your size and colors now.
