Presenting the StockX By Soft Goods Core Collection, an exploration of stylish and tough everyday essentials, hand-crafted with the highest quality materials.

Every piece was designed and made right in our hometown of Detroit, Michigan, in partnership with local garment manufacturer Soft Goods, a company rooted in providing premium and ethical apparel. This first collection aims to provide everyday essentials that are as tough as the city we call home while remaining both stylish and comfortable. Consisting of hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, and the heaviest t-shirt in the game, each piece features an embroidered homage to our tag on the chest. with the t-shirt displaying a custom back graphic designed by renowned Detroit-based designer and sign painter Kelly Golden.

When we first linked up with Soft Goods, we knew this collection was bound to be something special. Their commitment to high-quality manufacturing perfectly meshed with our desire for these pieces to be everyday accessible and timelessly tasteful. Their drive for transparency through their work, whether it be through their actions towards fair wages and safe work conditions or the use of local material suppliers and 100% cotton with every product, aligns with our message and makes for a meaningful collaboration between two Detroit businesses.

Adding to the Detroit story is our second partner, Kelly Golden, who designed the graphic seen on the back of each heavyweight tee. Although she has a knack for designing garment graphics, her true bread-and-butter comes from her work on hand-painted signs, bringing her artistic vision and touch to many of Detroit’s local brick-and-mortar stores. With Detroit regaining its economic boom that once put it on the map decades ago, the vintage design on the shirts bring back memories of a past that’s making its way back into the future. “I’ve always liked old stuff… generally nostalgic feelings” says Golden in an interview with StockX. “I just hope people think it’s a fun graphic and a comfy shirt and feel great wearing it.”
