Best known for her sous chef stint at 2 Michelin-Starred Florilége, the no 5. restaurant in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2019, she spent 2 years training under chef Hiroyasu Kawate. Her duties as a sous chef comprised of assisting chef Kawate on day-to-day operations in the kitchen. In addition, Natsuko had also joined French fine dining Le Jeu de l’Assiette in Tokyo’s affluent suburb of Daikanyama to train as a pastry chef prior to joining Florilége. Natsuko has been crowned Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2020 and has attracted much attention as the first Japanese female chef on the international restaurant ranking OAD.
