It's meant to turn heads while keeping your feet snug. Officially released to the world in December of 2018, the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 is the brainchild of international hip-hop superstar Kanye West. In collaboration with the adidas design team, West intended the shoe as the second installment of the Boost 700 line for his personal sneaker brand Yeezy. The very first colorway released was called Static, and many others have followed in its wake, like Hospital Blue, Inertia and Geode. A jet-black colorway of the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 known as Vanta has also been much beloved since its initial release. Like the first version of the Boost 700, the V2 has a chunky and roughly triangular silhouette. The shoe is made of high-quality leather and dual suede overlays, though particular upper design features vary from colorway to colorway. The upper is constructed of a stylish and tight roller knit reminiscent of 1990s-era running shoes, and the midsole is specially calibrated to maximize comfort and support by making use of adidas’ special Boost technology.
