Inspired by an unreleased sample from 2011, this New Balance 999 was resurrected in 2017 by Concepts. An alternate version of the coveted “Kennedys,” this pair is known as the “Hyannis Red” edition. Coming in grey and white, they are a MiUSA ediiton, made completely in the USA at the Skowhegan, Maine New Balance manufacturing facility. Nautical flags are visible on the custom printed sockliner and tongue tag, with a Concepts branded flag adorning the insoles. Red accents in place of blue finish things off. Their release date was November 4th, 2017, where they were available exclusively at Concepts (in-store and online) as well as at ComplexCon. Each pair came in a special box.
