This version of the Supreme LACOSTE Wool Varsity Jacket has the perfect spring vibes. The two brands recently linked up during the streetwear brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 season. For Spring/Summer 2018 they continue where they left off with even more options in apparel and accessories. LACOSTE was founded in 1933 and named after founder Rene LACOSTE. A tennis player, it is never a surprise to see LACOSTE being worn on courts for generations. The brand is known for their iconic green crocodile logo, coming from the founder’s nickname “The Crocodile”. The logo is the main focus of a collaborative logo between the two brands. Slightly different then last year’s version, the new logo is more of a crest and featured on both the chest and back of the varsity jacket in the form of felt patches. The jacket itself was made from 24 oz. melton wool with a cotton lining. Peach was used on the body of the jacket while the arms were made in accenting white. Green and red striping was featured on the knit ribbed collar, cuff and hem. The jacket uses a full zip closure system with snap buttons paired with classic slanted double welt hand pockets. Made in three color options this version fits into the season. The Supreme LACOSTE Wool Varsity Jacket sold for $368 when it released on the Supreme online shop and most shop locations on April 19th, 2018. Not surprisingly the jacket was a quick sellout but luckily the marketplace has them to purchase.
