Early on in December, StockX added a new brandā€™s full winter collection…and that brand was FTP. The add proved fruitful when the brand announced their collaboration with Undefeated shortly thereafter. The promotional video for the collaboration was announced via a video of the Lock Out Kit being used to aid in a “re-entry” of a Range Rover and Lamborghini that is in no way ā€œunlawfulā€. With the two big releases added in December, FTPā€™s StockX debut was larger than most brands. Shop FTP on StockX here.

Ambushā€™s Yoon is having a big year. After working with Kim Jones on his debut Dior Menā€™s runway show and releasing a collaboration with Amazon, Ambush came together with Nike as a part of Nikeā€™s initiative to collaborate with female designers for the holiday season. Although the collaboration looked targeted toward women, it was dubbed a unisex collection by Yoon on Instagram. The highlights of the capsule are the two Reversible Faux Fur coats in both white and black. Shop the drop here.

Ralph Lauren seems to finally be learning from streetwear. After their collaboration with Palace in November, Polo is maintaining their momentum, releasing a limited quantity run of Polo Stadium Gear with a winter focus. The drop came as a part of their seven day giveaway via the Polo app. The giveaway featured a different drop each day, all of which featured very limited gear. Their adoption of a streetwear release model for the seven day event signifies their further interest in the world of streetwear. Shop Poloā€™s Winter Stadium release on StockX here.

OVO x Murakami

Takashi Murakami has commanded attention at ComplexCon since the first year it was run. Working with the event on merch, Murakami’s flowers have likely been the events most observed artwork, appearing on bags, pillows, and other items. At this yearā€™s ComplexCon, OVO dropped a very limited run of apparel in collaboration with Mr. Murakami. Earlier this month, the OVO x Murakami collaboration was released to the general public via the OVO webstore. The full capsule included two varsity jackets, three hoodies, three hoodies, and several accessories. Shop the apparel on StockX here.

More OFF-WHITE NRG Tees

Virgil may have alluded to the end of ā€œThe Tenā€ collaboration with Nike this month, but different colored A6 NRG Tees are still flowing. The tuxedo tee released in three more colors in December. At the beginning of the month we saw the black tee released and later on weā€™d see both a retro blue and lime green colorway release as well. As the tees come out in seemingly every color imaginable, the only question that remains is, ā€œWhy?ā€.
