All-In Pricing FAQs

I heard you’ve introduced All-in Pricing, why are you doing this?

The most frequent feedback we have been receiving from our Canadian community is around our fees and some surprises at delivery. This new feature helps alleviate these costs for both Buyers and Sellers, starting by reducing processing fees on Canadian trades.

How are you able to make All-in Pricing happen?

By matching Canadian buyers and Canadian sellers to provide the cheapest overall price whenever possible.

What is included in an All-In Pricing price?

The product price and the associated Duty. Processing, shipping fees, and taxes are separate line items at checkout.

Can I still buy and sell products outside of Canada?

You can. StockX always has been and always will be a global marketplace. Our new model means that you will continue to see the lowest Ask price of a product, with any applicable fees included, whether that item comes from Canada or further afield.

Does this change mean I will be charged duties at the door by the carrier?

No, you won’t. Any applicable duties on purchases where the product is coming from outside of Canada will now be included in the item’s Ask price.

Are shipping fees included?

Shipping fees are still calculated and applied at checkout. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact us.

Now that you’ve launched, what does an authentication centre mean to Canadians?    

A local authentication centre allows us to provide our Canadian customers with access to local supply coming from Canadian sellers and being able to match that local supply with local buyers at a lower fee with faster service. We do that with the addition of a technology called all-in pricing, and this feature allows us to match a local buyer with a local seller. It really will unlock a tremendous amount of growth and, ultimately for the buyer, lower prices for a great product

What are some of the key features for buyers and sellers when it opens? 

When a buyer comes to the platform in Canada, we will—in more than 70 percent of cases—match that buyer with a seller in Canada. That will reduce their import duties or other fees, and allow that buyer to get that product from a seller much faster.

For a seller, as we’re able to increase the amount of local matching, we’ll increase their velocity of selling on the platform. They’ll be competitively priced relative to sellers from other regions around the world and when those customers have access to all this product, it delivers the best-in-class experience for both sellers and buyers, which is the flywheel of the StockX experience.

Do you support the Canadian dollar?

Yes, we do. To change your currency setting to $CAD on the app you can go to your settings; on the web, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and change your currency setting to $CAD, too. You can also change your region and language preferences. Once you’ve made your changes select “save changes,” and you’re good to go.

Am I eligible for promotions if I live in Canada? 

Most promotions are applicable to residents of Canada, including RestockX, Charitable Campaigns, IPOs, raffles, and sweepstakes. Rules vary by contest and certain areas in Canada, such as Quebec, may be excluded at this time.
