Jordan 5 Off-White Sail

One of All-Star Weekend’s best releases is getting a new look as Virgil Abloh and Jordan release the Jordan 5 Off-White Sail. Abloh originally previewed the Off-White Sail 5 shortly after the release of the Jordan 5 Off-White Black and for a while, it was unconfirmed whether or not this alternate iteration would hit retailers. Now, the Jordan 5 Off-White Sail is finally set to drop.

In signature fashion, Virgil has reimagined the Jordan 5 silhouette in a way that embraces the importance of Nike Air technology. The Jordan 5 Off-White Sail is composed of a sail textile mesh upper with translucent netted panels and circular window inserts throughout the shoe. 3M reflective tongues, fire red Jordan branding, and an aged translucent outsole add the finishing touches to this retro design.

Keep an eye out for the Jordan 5 Off-White Sail to release this Thursday, October 29th for £189.95 on SNKRS and at select stockists.

Air Jordan 3 Fragment

The Air Jordan 3 Fragment is the follow up to the very popular 2015 Air Jordan 1 collaboration. Fans have been patiently waiting for Fragment’s founder Hiroshi Fujiwara to drop a new collaboration with Jordan Brand, after a slew of other collaborations with other entities such as Louis VuittonAnti-Social Social Club, and Pokemon. The Air Jordan 3 Fragment brings the lighting bolt brand back to a classic Jordan model.

Following Hiroshi Fujiwara’s love for simplistic motifs, the Air Jordan 3 Fragment comes dressed in white and black. The upper features a primarily white leather upper with a black full-grain leather mudguard. This collaboration replaces the Elephant print that typically appears on a Jordan 3 with plush black leather embossed with the Fragment lighting bolt logo. The sneaker’s white midsole has the colourway’s style code and release date printed in black text. To show true unison between the two brands, the Fragment’s lighting bolt logo appears behind a translucent Jumpman, in a similar fashion to August’s Fire Red Denim 3s.

The Air Jordan 3 Fragment is slated to drop on Wednesday, October 28th for £169.95 on the SNKRS app and a select few Jordan Brand stockists.

Yeezy 380 Calcite Glow

Yeezy is adding a new colourway to their expanding 380 line with the Yeezy 380 Calcite Glow. While recent 380s are known for their brown, earth-toned look, the Calcite returns to the design’s roots with a ghostly vibe just in time for Halloween.

The Yeezy 380 Calcite Glow is reminiscent of the very first Yeezy 380 release, the Yeezy 380 Alien. Similar to the Alien, the Calcite Glow features a white and grey perforated Primeknit upper and a looped rope lacing system. The main difference between the two colourways is that the Calcite Glow primarily features white throughout, with grey detailing. Also, the Calcite comes with a translucent, glow-in-the-dark sole that is guaranteed to add some extra glow to your feet.

The Yeezy 380 Calcite Glow is set to release this Saturday, October 31st for £219.95 on Yeezy Supply and at select stockists.

For the last two years, Nike has released Skeleton-themed Air Force 1s in October to celebrate Halloween. The Swoosh is continuing the tradition this year and releasing another Air Force 1 Skeleton, only this time with a colourful new look.

The Nike Air Force 1 Orange Skeleton comes dressed in an all-orange leather upper with a skeleton x-ray print on each side of the upper. Similar to the candle-lit glow of a Jack-O-Lantern, this release features a glow-in-the-dark translucent sole that is geared to light up your step. Glossy black lace tags, Nike Air branding on the tongue, and a skeleton printed insole complete this spooky AF1.

The Nike Air Force 1 Orange Skeleton is set to release this Wednesday, October 28th for £115 at select stockists.

Denim Tears x Converse

As a brand, Converse has been very vocal about the social and environmental causes it promotes. Last year, Converse started their Renew program, an eco-friendly initiative created to upcycle old/used materials to create new Chuck Taylor colourways and models. They have promoted many campaigns this year to encourage Americans to vote for this year’s historic election. And this week, Converse, in collaboration with streetwear label, Denim Tears, is set to release an All-Star 70s colourway that highlights the struggles of being Black in America.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Denim Tears will arrive in both Hi and Low silhouettes, each featuring identical design patterns that pay homage to the Pan-African flag. The upper is composed of two different canvas prints. Black and red striped canvas cover the siding of each shoe and a green printed canvas donning black stars takes up the tongue. Metal eyelets, a traditional Chuck Taylor All-Star stamp on the inside ankle, and a white sole with green and red piping finalize the design.

Both Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Denim Tears models will release globally this Thursday, October 29th on the Converse website and at select stockists.

Slam Jam x Nike Dunk High White Black

The second colourway from the hugely successful collab between Slam Jam and Nike drops this week. Slam Jam, which was founded back in 1989 in Milan, has acted as a cultural hub for Europe over the last thirty years. To see the fashion, music and culture publication join forces with Nike to create a limited edition dunk is something special.

A mix of white and black features across the sneakers upper, with premium leathers and suedes being the materials used. Some of the more traditional Dunk features are flipped on their heads for this rendition of the silhouette. We see the legendary swoosh, but it is crafted from an adhesive material that hovers around the back of the shoe. We also see the classic perforated toe box change from its usual pattern, going in one verticle line through the middle of the sneaker instead. Finally, the iconic Nike Air logo is flipped upside down, similarly to the pairs previous collaboration, the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Slam Jam.

Look out for the Nike Dunk Slam Jam High to drop on October 30th for a retail price of £130.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Japan Midnight Navy

The Air Jordan 1 High Japan Midnight Navy initially released back in 2001 as a Japan-exclusive alongside the Neutral Grey Jordan. It is great to see both pairs receive wider releases after nearly 20 years on the sidelines.

The sneaker’s clean upper is composed of premium white leathers and is complimented perfectly by the midnight navy suede panels. The legendary swoosh features across both the lateral and medial sides of the shoe in contrasting grey suede. The Nike Air logo returns to the tongue, giving this sneaker a seriously OG feel. And finally, you’ll find Nike Air technology running across the entire sole, guaranteeing unparalleled comfort.

The Air Jordan 1 High Japan Midnight Navy releases on October 31st for a retail price of £135.

Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger

Nike seems to be embracing Halloween with its releases this week. We see Nike put a spooky spin on two classic silhouettes.

As discussed, we see the Air Force 1 ‘Skeleton’ return, this time covered in pumpkin orange. But we also have the release of the Nike Air Max 95  Freddy Krueger to look forward to. Coming in a similar colourway to the infamous Freddy Krueger Dunk, this 95 is guaranteed to be a smash-hit. The browns and reds that cover the uppers perfectly reflect the sweater worn by Krueger himself, whilst the classic 95 waves on each side further solidify the look. A grey, suede toebox finishes off the uppers appearance whilst classic Nike Air technology is housed within a light brown sole unit down below. Air Max 95’s are one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes, so this Nightmare on Elm Street version is sure to please horror fans.

The Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger will drop this Halloween, October 31st, for £140.
