The Supreme The Velvet Underground Ringer Tee isnāt something you would see from most streetwear brands, but if anyone can make the ringer popular again its Supreme. The American brand continues its strong year with a capsule collection with the legendary rock band the Velvet Underground. Hailing from the same city, you can bet that the bandās music had an influence on the Supremeās core. Their stying is something the Supreme team would have played on their in-store TVās back in the day. Supreme was given access to the bandās album art which they used on a variety of different apparel pieces. The ringer tee is something that was popular when the band existed so it makes sense to bring it back for this project. Although they had access to plenty of artwork, many of the pieces focused on the bandās debut album. Although Warholās banana graphic wasnāt used in the collection, it probably couldnāt to be honest, we saw most of the debut album art featured. Here we see three members of the band, including singer Nico, on the front of the tee. On the back, the remaining members are featured. Seen in black and white styling, the imagery contrasts against the teal base. Complementing the body is the yellow striping on the neck and sleeves. The retro stying of the ringer tee isnāt for everyone but donāt be surprised to see the style make a return.
