Spitfire and Supreme have teamed up again for a collection of collabs that includes the Supreme Spitfire Classic Swirl T-Shirt White. If you’re new to collecting Supreme, the brand began as a skate shop in New York’s Lower East Side back in 1994. Over the past 25 years, they’ve become mainstream with the new hypebeast phenomenon but they continue to stay true to their roots by collaborating with traditional skate brands and sponsoring local skaters. For Spring/Summer 2018, Supreme teamed up with Spitfire to rework the skate wheel manufacturer’s most famous design, the “swirl” design, which has been a staple for Spitfire since the 90s. Spitfire has been a mainstay in the skate world since 1993 when they dropped their first video, aptly named Spitfire. With names like Gonzo, Guy Mariano, John Cardiel, Eric Koston, Chris Cole, and a host of others still riding Spitfire wheels, the Supreme partnership is a perfect pairing for the true OGs. The t-shirts include the aforementioned swirl design with the Supreme box logo in the center of the mesmerizing purple and red graphic.
