Supreme’s FW20 Week 2 releases were absolute bangers. Not only did the brand drop one of this season’s most anticipated accessories in the Metal Folding Chair, they also released 2020’s first Supreme x Nike collaboration. Until SS20, Supreme x Nike collaborations released seasonally but for unknown reasons the two brands did not drop any apparel last season. For those left feeling disappointed, the two brands didn’t waste any time this season getting their collaboration off.

Supreme x Nike FW20 delivered wearable styles at accessible retail prices. The most expensive pieces from the collection were the reversible anoraks, which retailed at a price of $188 USD. For those who looked to further justify the purchase, the argument has been made that since it’s reversible, you get two jackets for the price of one. On pricepoint alone this collection is far more accessible than Supreme’s last collaboration with Nike which dropped in FW19 and featured leather anorak jackets at a retail price of $880 USD. This release’s most popular garment is the Jewel Crewneck which dropped in three colorways and features the streetwear brand’s name embroidered above a Jewel Applique Swoosh logo.

In terms of sales, this release is likely most comparable to SS19’s Supreme x Nike collaboration which featured Hooded Sport Jackets, shoulder bags, and the popular Swoosh Sweater. In the way of price premiums, the FW20 Jewel Crewnecks are already following close behind the Swoosh Sweater, both of which are trading at over 70% of their retail price. As far as the FW20 Anoraks go, we’ll probably see them catch up to SS19’s Hooded Sport Jackets in due time, but they’re not yet trading for price premiums of over 120%. Supreme x Nike FW20 might be encouraging for fans as the collaboration undoubtedly marks a return to form after the less inspiring FW19’s release.
