If you’re unfamiliar with CLOT, you’re going to learn more about them this year. Since it started in 2003, the sole mission of the Chinese brand founded by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon is to act as a cultural bridge between “the East and the West.” Through fashion and Chinese-centered design, CLOT has collaborated on products with Nike, Stussy, Visvim, and, most recently, Casio.
CLOT collaborated with Japan-based Casio back in 2012 for the first time, working on the DW-6900. The watch featured an entirely translucent red body with a black interface and red digits. Since its release, the watch has been one of the more sought after collaborations that G-Shock has put out in a long time, going for over $400 on StockX.
This week, the two brands have come together for what already looks like another grail of a collaboration. Going in a complete opposite direction of their last collaboration, this watch also features a translucent case body. Its selling point is the abundance of colorful watch straps that come with it, providing nine variety of color options.
The watch was exclusively sold at CLOT’s Juice Store online and in their six brick and mortar stores. To no surprise, the watch quickly sold out at $257, but is already available on StockX!
