Saucony and Bronx-based rapper and artist Jae Tips are at it again, this time delivering two sneakers designed to remind you to get up and get sh*t done. The duo is set to drop a vibrant collection of adult and kids sneakers dubbed the “To-Do List”. The release marks Jae Tips and Saucony’s third collaborative endeavor, and if you’ve seen Saucony and Tips’ previous drops, you know he’s not shy when it comes to color.

The “To Do List” collection features four sneakers: two iterations of the ProGrid Omni 9 silhouette in Pink and Tan colorways, plus two corresponding designs of the Shadow 6000 for the artist’s first kid’s sneakers.

Tips wanted to create footwear that reminded people of him, which is a big part of why each pair uses such a colorful palette. The ProGrid Omni 9’s both incorporate hits of pink, red, purple, shades of blue, and green, accented by a bold royal blue (on the Pink iteration) and a perfectly balanced brown (on the Tan iteration) midsole. They’re also the only Omni’s Saucony has ever produced with cage/netting behind the logo.

Besides being eye-catching, the Omni 9s are full of Jae Tips gems. On both, his signature flower marking can be spotted on the shoe’s quarter-heel panel, while his “Savior” moniker lands where Saucony’s “Omni” branding is typically found. To round out the design, the classic Jae Tips globe logo was added to the sneaker’s collar.

Another reason for Tip’s “death-to-minimalism” mindset when designing this collection was to have multiple colors and materials “represent all of the various steps that go into bringing a project to life,” and is inspired by his need to create a daily to-do list to accomplish his goals – all while wearing comfortable (and non-boring) kicks.

When we talked to Tips for an episode of In Rotation, he noted that he hopes the collection encourages others to step out and chase their dreams, which is why “You should make a to-do list today” and “Comfortable shoes” are branded on the insoles. “Your day just got more comfortable” is also printed on the shoe box as another friendly reminder.

The Jae Tips x Saucony To Do List Collection releases globally on September 20, 2024, but you can grab your pairs early StockX.

Oh, and one last thing – it’s pronounced saw-kah-nee, not saw-coney.
