The Adidas Yeezy 500 Salt is the holiday release for Yeezy fans. A super simple design, the Salts take the Yeezy 500 silhouette and add a little salt to it.
The uppers, midsole, and outsole are all colored in a “salt” color. The Salts follow the trend of Yeezy 500s being monocolored. The 500 salts make for a perfect holiday release, as the colorway and name both refer to salt. For those not blessed with snow in the winter, its common to see salt sprinkled throughout the streets to help combat the snow and ice. Kanye has a way with materials, utilizing suede, premium leather, mesh, and nubuck. Kanye has been a beast when it comes to creating new colorways for his various Yeezys over the past year, with an emphasis on the 350s and 500s.
