The Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy White House Tee was came from the much anticipated triple collaboration from the Supreme Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Japanese label UNDERCOVER and Supreme working together is nothing out of the norm. But the two decided they needed to add another to the dream team, namely iconic hip hop group Public Enemy. Most of the focus to the collaboration was on “Fear of the Black Planet,” the third album from the group. Here we see an image taken during that album’s era and the focus of the photo tee. It all begins with the familiar all cotton Supreme tee in black. The photograph added to the chest of the shirt is an image of Public Enemy leader Chuck D. in front of the White House in 1991. During that time he, and Public Enemy, were vocal against what was happening in politics. His thoughts about Bush senior and junior were thoroughly shared and even in modern day he is vocal against the current president. While the photo is all that is featured on the front the back is all about the collaboration. The album title is featured in its bold yellow print. Underneath the red Public Enemy name is added in red along with their logo and the phrase “The Counterattack On World Supremacy”. Underneath we see the UNDERCOVER logo along with their name and Supreme. The Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy White House Tee sold for $48 and was released on March 15th, 2018.
