The Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy Work Jacket came from the much anticipated triple collaboration from the Supreme Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Japanese label UNDERCOVER and Supreme working together is always appreciated. But the two decided they needed to add another to the dream team, namely iconic hip hop group Public Enemy. Most of the focus to the collaboration was on “Fear of the Black Planet,” the third album from the group. For the work jacket the brands put the focus on Public Enemy art. It all starts off with a Supreme work jacket that utilizes heavyweight cotton blend twill in dusty teal. A good look for the season the twill exterior is matched up with a quilted liner. Details include dual hand pockets, full zip closure and inner chest pocket. As nice as the jacket is by itself the focus is all on the graphics added onto the front and back. On the front a large woven patch is added on. The patch features a combination of the Public Enemy name and target logo along with the phrase “Fight The Power.” On the rear the special comic inspired “Blow Your Mind” art is featured in black along with UNDERCOVER and Supreme branding. Made in two color options the jacket dropped online and in-store on March 15th, 2018.
