The Jordan 3 is the sneaker that saved the relationship between Michael Jordan and Nike. It also introduced would be sneaker legend, Tinker Hatfield. The Jordan 3 features some amazing firsts for the legendary line such as a heel tab, elephant print, visible air, and the Jumpman logo.
Today it’s much more than a basketball shoe. It’s a fashion icon. Technology nowadays provides for much better performance anyways. They’re acceptable to worn as an everyday outfit staple and even for more formal occasions. This specific pair is based on the player edition (PE) shoe made for the North Carolina basketball team, MJ’s alma mater. It uses a white leather base with some nice hints of Carolina blue around the shoe. The shoe also has the classic grey elephant print.
The PE has the UNC logo on the tongue and we’re not sure the general release will get the same treatment. The Jordan 3 Retro UNC (2020) releases on March 7, 2020, at a retail price of $190.
