The Air Jordan 4 originally released in 1989 and has been a streetwear and fashion staple ever since. It was the debut of a lot of things for the sneaker industry, like netting and a speckled midsole. A lot can be said about the model. It has been released in many different colorways over the last 30 years.

This time around we get a winterized version of a classic. There a lot of sneakerheads who are hesitant to wear their retros in bad weather, but Jordan has solved that issue. This model is made out of a waterproof, blue upper. It even has plush interior linings in red. Now you don’t have to worry about your nubuck or leather getting ruined. We’ve seen winterized versions of retros before but they’ve typically looked a little bit extreme with different traction patterns and boot-like materials. The sneaker is complemented with black accents and a black midsole.

The netting is more enclosed than your typical 4 models as well. The outsole appears to be a regular, grey plastic. The Jordan 4 Retro Winter releases on December 2, 2019, at a retail price of $200.
