The Kaws Companion Open Edition is one of of KAWS most recognizable characters, and released on November 22nd, 2016. Three colors were released on that day (Brown, Gray, & Black) while a “Blush” red colorway would go on to release six months later in June, 2017. The retail price for all figures was $200 each. These full body versions are different than the flayed versions, but come in the same colors. The figures were released through MoMA, KAWSONE, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and sold out quickly. Each figure stands at 11 inches tall, and comes sealed in clear blister packaging.
