Nike’s Lebron line is the second-most popular sneaker line of all time. It doesn’t take much thinking to name the first. The King’s models have gone through many different trends with an overall aesthetic staying towards a mid top model. A lot of times much flashier materials and colors are seen on a LeBron sneaker but not the 17.
The 17 is constructed out of an almost all knit upper. Nike believes that this allows for added comfort, flexibility, and breathability. The technology allows for the shoe to stay firm or stretch when needed. The knitting pattern creates many different square and rectangular-shaped dots that can actually be felt and pulled on. It almost looks like an abstract form of art. Right above the midsole is plastic trim with a backward, speckled swoosh. The midsole is translucent and is half-visible air.
