Market Watch: Jordan Championship Packs, Ultra Boost Uncaged, Jordan 12 New Releases

We’re back with the latest edition of Market Watch but before we get into that, our Eminem Giveaway ends tonight! Get your last minute entries in now! Okay, now that we’ve got that out. There’s been a lot of new sneakers dropping this summer. Some hot. Some not. But this week things are looking up. So what’s on the radar this week?

1. Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack

The latest Jordan Championship Pack lands at retail this weekend with the Champagne AJ8 and Confetti AJ8 colorways. We’ve already seen some energy across both colorways in the form of Pre-Selling and Pre-Bidding.

2. adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged

The Ultra Boost has been a game changer for adidas. It’s popularity is surpassed only by the adidas NMD but that could change with the widespread release of the “Uncaged” versions. Variations of the Uncaged Ultra Boost were released in limited form by Hypebeast and Solebox but next week a handful of Uncaged UBs drop and the colorways have already been getting a lot of attention with Pre-Bid and Pre-Sell action.

3. Air Jordan 12 Retro Grey/University Blue

AJ12’s have been popping up in all sorts of colorways this year and there are more to come according to the release calendar. The Jordan 12 originally dropped back in 1997 and was on MJ’s feet for the legendary “Flu Game” against the Jazz. These might not have the buzz of Drake’s OVO Jordan 12 but there are already a few bids over retail waiting for potential sellers.

4. Pharrell BBC Stan Smith “Palm Trees”

Pharrell’s next collaboration with adidas loops in another one of his business ventures, Billionaire Boys Club, for a new collaboration on the classic Stan Smith silhouette. The release date of June 25th was just announced for these so there hasn’t been much action but according to BoF, Pharrell is the driving force in adidas recent success.
