Jun Takahashi and his team over at Japanese streetwear brand Undercover have been pushing out a lot of collaboration products over the past couple of years. This includes projects with Adidas, Supreme, and Doc Martens. This React Boot with Nike might be the most audacious to date though.
The high cut boot is made primarily out of chocolate brown mesh and some leather. It is wrapped with translucent blue rubber all around including a strong mudguard overlay for extra weather-proof utility. The midsole is dark blue rubber and includes a speckled grey plate with an orange Swoosh on it. There is also a rubber heel tab with an underlined “U” for Undercover. The midsole incorporates more translucent rubber in blue, purple, and orange. The React Boot is so technical that it zips up and includes large, orange handles to help a wearer put them on.
