The Nike Zoom Freak 1 Black White is the first signature shoe designed for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis is coming off of a monster year and was recently crowned the 18-19 NBA MVP. The arrival of his first signature shoes lines up so well with his journey through the NBA.
The sneakers upper features an all-black mesh material with small hits of grey. Smaller details on the upper include Antetokounmpo’s signature logo on the tongue, and a tribute to his home country Greece on the back heel. The sneakers most unique design is the placement of the swoosh. Moving away from traditional looks, the swoosh has been inverted and moved to the midsole. Blending in seamlessly and creating a great new look. The black Nike swoosh cuts through the white foam midsole. The outsole of the shoe uses a mixture of white rubber, and hits of icy blue translucent material.
