The Supreme Fall/Winter 2017 collection consisted of a small collaborative collection with artist Andres Serrano. The Roman Catholic artist is known for taking photographs of subjects that many don’t feel comfortable talking about or viewing. He has never been afraid to use uncomfortable topics and making them the focus. That is exactly what he did with his “Blood and Semen” series. The artist photographed images created by mixing together bovine blood and his own semen in between panes of Plexiglas. The combination something most would never think of putting together, became a whole set of images for him. In fact Metallica used one of the images for the cover of their “Load” album. In 2017 Supreme used one of the images for a variety of apparel including their popular Camp Cap. Always a popular headwear option from the brand, Supreme added the image to every panel of the cap. The black Blood and Semen Camp Cap has a color as the accent. Black is used on the box logo, eyelets and rear strap. Retailing at $54, the cap was released on September 21st, 2017.
