Supreme and Comme des Garçons collaboration dropped during the streetwear brand’s Fall/Winter 2018 week 4 releases. The Supreme Comme des Garcons SHIRT Patchwork Skate Pant was the most unique pant options from the entire collaborative effort. The entire collection was highly anticipated as the brands had not joined forces since Spring/Summer 2017, but Fall/Winter 2018 brought us more than enough apparel to make up for it. The “SHIRT” collection had a few different themes going with a patchwork look being added to both a shirt and matching pants. The patchwork look is something Comme des Garçons has used successfully in their own line so it was no surprise to see them using the proven formula. Of course being a collaboration piece it has its own spin to the graphic. The foundation was an all cotton Supreme skate pant in black. The pants have front slant pockets on both sides along with a rear pocket with button closure added. Elastic cuffs and waistband with interior cord make sure the pants stay in place when you go for your next skate trick. The entire frontside of the pant gets the patchwork treatment. The printed graphic mixed together plenty of images that relate to Supreme and their home city of New York. The front’s busy look contrasts to the plain black rear where the brand’s logos appeared on the pocket.
