Named the “Most Influential Skateboarder of all Time” by Transworld Skateboarding, Mark Gonzales isn’t just skater though. Beyond being a pioneer in the sport he is also an artist, writer and creator. He is also a long time supporter of Supreme, hanging out and repping the brand since they first opened their doors. The friendship between the two has grown over the years leading to “the Gonz” becoming a sponsored rider for Supreme. That has lead to a variety of collaborations and original artwork to showcase in the Supreme shops around the globe. For the Fall/Winter 2017 season a variety of pieces were made featuring new Gonz art. The art focused around heads, with the main feature a woman with large lips and glasses. That art is what was featured on new beanies. The Supreme Gonz Ramm Beanie starts off as a acrylic large cuffed beanie in grey. The colorful art piece is stitched into the top of the beanie. On the cuff we see “SUPREAM” added in Gonz’s writing. The beanies sold out quickly when they released on September 21st, 2017.
