The “Most Influential Skateboarder of all Time,” as named by Transworld Skateboarding, Mark Gonzales isn’t just a skater. Besides being a pioneer in the sport he is also an artist, writer and creator. He is also a fan of Supreme, supporting the brand since they first opened the doors. The friendship between the man and the brand has grown over the years leading to “the Gonz” becoming a sponsored rider. That has lead to a variety of collaborations and original artwork to showcase in the Supreme shops around the globe. For the Fall/Winter 2017 season a variety of pieces were made featuring new Gonz art. The art focused around heads, with the main feature a woman with large lips and glasses. The piece starts off as a acrylic large cuffed beanie in pale pink. The colorful “head” art piece is stitched into the top of the beanie. On the cuff we see “SUPREAM” added in Gonz’s writing. A simple piece to keep your head warm during the cold months of the year. Released in multiple colorways the beanie dropped and sold out on September 21st, 2017.
