Mark Gonzales, better known as the Gonz, is a skateboarder, artist and long time supporter of Supreme. The Gonz was hanging out with the Supreme crew in their early years and was even known to send postcards to the shop during his travels. Eventually he was one of the professional skateboards sponsored by the streetwear brand and that has lead to collaborative pieces over the years. For the Fall/Winter 2017 season the two created a new collection focused on new artwork. Gonz’s art appeared on apparel, accessories and skateboard decks. Here we see one of the Gonz Ramm Varsity jacket in navy. The body of the jacket is made from 24 oz. melton wool, perfect for the season. Adding some contrast on the body is using leather on the sleeves along with the slanted welt hand pockets. Other features of the jacket include snap front closures, cuffed sleeves and quilted satin lining. Adding some color to the front is the addition of original Gonz art in the form of a chenille patch. The rear also features the same image but larger, with “SUPREAM” added underneath. The Gonz and Supreme, always a winning combination. The Supreme Gonz Ramm Varsity Jac was released on August 17th, 2017 at most Supreme shop locations and online.
