The Supreme Spring/Summer 2020 continues even as the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The virus has impacted Supreme as they have had to close their physical stores, but all drops are still scheduled as usual through their online shop. For S/S 2020 week 5 the new Supreme Leopard Mesh 5-Panel was a standout piece. The collaboration with Timberland was the headliner for the week, however many of the drops were of more tame design. But this piece of headwear stood out thanks to the leopard print base.
Preparing for warmer months the Supreme team went with a black mesh body for a majority of the cap. But most importantly is the front two panels and the brim. That is where we see the usage of leopard faux fur but in a unique grayscale look. The fur works with the mesh back to create a unique look that stands out from the norm. Also added to the unique look is the usage of a woven logo patch on the front rather than an embroidered or box logo. This look makes it stand out from other 5-panels from this season and especially the tame Supreme x Timberland 6-Panel that released at the same time. With only two color options, the 5-panel is a unique take for those who enjoy a mesh cap. With a retail price of $44, the Supreme Leopard Mesh 5-Panel had a release on March 26th, 2020. Check out the new cap along with everything else from week 5 now on the marketplace.
