One of the signature pieces of the Fall/Winter 2017 collaboration between Supreme and Universal Pictures, the Supreme Scarface Leather Jacket is a new representation of the 1983 film’s original movie poster. The movie poster’s iconic look will not only be familiar to fans of the gangster movie but anyone exposed to movie culture in the past three decades. The collaboration with the movie franchise was one of Supreme’s most anticipated collections in 2017. Fans of the leather jacket had to be patient as Supreme did not release the jacket until the end of the season and months after most of the other pieces. But quality can’t be rushed and that is what happened here. The exterior is made up of premium tumbled cowhide leather with embroidered detailing. The zip enclosure representing split between the image and silhouette of Tony Montana. Stitched across the front is Scarface in red. On the right arm the phrase “The World Is Yours” is added. The left arm has “The American Dream” stitched in cursive. The rear of the jacket has the image once again but this time the Supreme name is added in the same font as the front. Silk lining as both comfort and class to the leather jacket. The Supreme Scarface Embroidered Leather Jacket was released online and at most Supreme shops on December 21st, 2017.
