The Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy Sweater came from the much anticipated triple collaboration from the Supreme Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Japanese label UNDERCOVER and Supreme working together is nothing out of the norm. But the two decided they needed to add another to the dream team, namely iconic hip hop group Public Enemy. Most of the focus to the collaboration was on art from “Fear of the Black Planet,” the third album from the group. But for this special sweater the focus wasn’t on the art but the actual title of the critically acclaimed album. The album title was made using bold, yellow font in a triangular pattern, reminding us of Star Wars’ opening crawl. The all cotton sweater adds the title all over in a jacquard pattern, standing out form the black base. The look that fans of the album will easily recognize all over the sweater. The name is the main focus but if you look closely you can see the streetwear brand names embroidered onto the chest. Made in multiple sizes the sweater only released in this black and yellow look. Selling with a MSRP of $188 the apparel piece released on the Supreme online shop and shop locations outside of Japan on March 15th, 2018. If you couldn’t grab the Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy Sweater on release day you can still cop it now on the marketplace.
