Even as the COVID-19 pandemic continues worldwide, we still try and have some normalcy through it all. So Supreme has continued with their weekly drops to help remind us of the normal times. For week 7 of the Spring/Summer 2020 season, we see the new Supreme Vanson Leathers Letters Cordura Jacket. This premium outerwear piece follows up with a piece that got the year started. And just like that piece this jacket was a popular pickup when it released as an online-only drop, for now.
Vanson knows all about craftsmanship thanks to over five decades of making tannery goods. Starting off making motorcycle jackets, they’ve grown, turning themselves into one of the most iconic motorsports leather companies in the world. Handmade and built to last, their leather products are worth the price of admission. For this jacket, the brands changed it up using leather as the accessory while a water-resistant Cordura nylon was used on the base, dyed in black. A full zipped center was stitched in where we also see the classic Vanson leather tag. Zippers were also used on the double welt pockets for both hands. Other jacket details include a velcro band closure on the collar and cuffs. The main feature is the leather appliqué logos though. The Supreme name in letters is added throughout the body in grey, blue, red and yellow. We also see embroidered logo patches on the sleeves to complete the look.
