The colorful Supreme Hysteric Glamour Text Hooded Sweatshirt was one of the most recognizable pieces from the collaboration collection released as part of Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection. The Japanese brand has been around since the 80’s focusing on music, art and imagery that entices the masses. The brainchild of founder Nobuhiko Kitamura, Hysteric Glamour’s ascension into relevance follows a similar path to Supreme’s. Their first collaboration consisted of a large assortment of apparel with bold text a recurring theme. That was what the hoodie was all about. The piece started off as a familiar black cotton fleece hooded sweatshirt with classic detailing like pouch pocket. The feature of the piece is the addition of the “Text” printed graphic all over the hoodie. A wide variety of words such as “Hell” and “Screw” along with the brand’s names are featured in big, bold letters in a variety of colors.
