The Supreme UNDERCOVER/Public Enemy Crewneck Sweatshirt came from the much anticipated triple collaboration from the Supreme Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Japanese label UNDERCOVER and Supreme working together is nothing out of the norm. But the two decided they needed to add another to the dream team, namely iconic hip hop group Public Enemy. Most of the focus to the collaboration was put on the imagery from “Fear of the Black Planet,” the third album from the group. However for this apparel piece the focus was on the hip hop group’s branding. It all started off with comfortable cotton fleece Supreme crewneck sweatshirt in black. Right across the chest we see the familiar Public Enemy name added diagonally in white large print. On the right sleeve the group’s target logo is added right above the elbow. Finishing off the design is the addition on the rear. Here we see the “Blow Your Mind” graphic added. The art piece features a comic women speaking the phrase and who’s face is replaced with the hip hop group’s target logo. Underneath the UNDERCOVER logo and name is added along with Supreme.
