The Air Jordan 3 True Blue is one of the all time greatest sneakers and it returns this November in the closest form it has ever been to its 1988 origins.
True Blue 3s are one of the few colorways of the original Air Jordan signature models that Michael Jordan never wore in a traditional game, at least until he returned from retirement and began his chapter with the Washington Wizards. Back in 1988, MJ did however lace up the TB3 in a friendly game between the stars of the NBA and the Men’s USA Basketball team (see the pic below). But to many that may be irrelevant considering it was nearly 30 years ago. The one thing that makes the 2016 release of the True Blue Jordan 3 is the return of the “Nike Air” branding on the heel, which hasn’t been seen since 1988. Previous retro versions of the True Blue AJ3 have featured the Jordan Brand Jumpman on the heel, as well as on the insoles. The November 25th release of the TB3 is one of many highly anticipated sneaker releases to close out the year.
