It’s been 3 years since the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” last dropped but that ends next month with the release of this year’s version is now set to drop on November 5th, 2016. Black Toe Air Jordan 1s rarely made it onto Michael Jordan’s feet during games back in the day but they did appear in a bunch of promotional ads, Bulls team photos and other Nike photoshoots, including the photo that many consider to have become the original Jumpman logo (see below). One thing that has always been curious about the Retro Jordan 1 Black Toes is that they have a white tongue, while the pairs MJ wore back in 1985 were always seen with a black tongue and without the “Air” below the Swoosh. OG or not, the Nike Air wearing Black Toes have become one of the most popular colorways of the Jordan 1, thanks to the black, white and red Chicago Bulls inspired color palette. If this “Remastered” Air Jordan 1 Black Toe Retro is anywhere near the quality of previous AJ1 releases this year, we won’t be the only people in for a fresh pair.
