Greg Schwartz is the CEO and co-founder of StockX, a Detroit-based technology leader focused on the large and growing online resale marketplace for sneakers, apparel, accessories, and collectibles. The platform connects buyers and sellers using the same method as the world’s stock markets – an anonymous and transparent ‘bid/ask’ market. 

Prior to launching StockX, Greg co-founded and served as CEO at UpTo and led digital business and product development at Warner Music Group. He has been at the forefront of the mobile applications industry since its inception and led design and development for some of the first mobile phone applications available in the United States.

Greg holds a BSE in computer science from the University of Michigan. He lived in New York City before returning to his native Detroit, where he lives today with his wife and three children.

Favorite Sneaker: Crediting Virgil Abloh’s reinvention of Nike’s classic Air Force 1 silhouette, Greg’s favorite sneaker is the Off-White Air Force 1 Black White.

Katy Cockrel is the SVP & Head of Global Communications at StockX where she oversees external and internal communications. As the first-ever communications hire at StockX in 2018, Katy built the department from the ground up as Vice President of Communications, and has evolved the brand’s story from a sneaker marketplace to a leading global resale platform. 

She has over 15 years of experience in the communications field, and spent the better part of the past decade working with brands across leadership positions both in-house and at leading communications agencies.   

She holds a dual B.A. in political science and public relations from Wayne State University. In September 2023, Katy was recognized as a PR Week 40 Under 40 honoree.

Favorite sneaker: Katy’s favorite sneaker of the moment is the Nike x Martine Rose Shox MR4. Her all-time favorite silhouette, however, is the Jordan 1 with a particular affinity for the Retro High Satin Shattered Backboard.

Katy Cockrel is the SVP & Head of Global Communications at StockX where she oversees external and internal communications. As the first-ever communications hire at StockX in 2018, Katy built the department from the ground up as Vice President of Communications, and has evolved the brand’s story from a sneaker marketplace to a leading global resale platform.

Andy Lisk is the SVP & Head of Global Customer Support at StockX. In his role, he leads a team that is dedicated to supporting StockX customers throughout the buying and selling process. Andy has nearly three decades of experience leading global customer support teams, and previously worked at companies including eBay and Wells Fargo.

Adam Wandy is the Chief Financial Officer at StockX, where he oversees the finance operations, analysis, tax compliance, real estate, and accounting teams. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading and developing finance teams for global companies. 

Before joining StockX, Adam spent a decade at the world’s largest ticketing marketplace, StubHub, where he served as the CFO of their North American business before leading the finance operations for their international business unit. He brings years of in-depth knowledge and experience working with two-sided global marketplaces and scaling teams for growth. 

Adam holds a BS from Binghamton University. He is a New York native, currently living in San Francisco. Outside of StockX, you can find Adam biking with his two daughters or hopping around the San Francisco restaurant scene.

Arts et Culture

StockX est intrinsèquement lié à la communauté artistique. Le monde des sneakers et du streetwear, en particulier, ont des racines qui remontent à certains des plus célèbres artistes de rue, graffeurs, peintres muraux et designers. L'entreprise soutient des organisations visant à initier les jeunes aux arts et à la culture par le biais d'initiatives telles que des subventions à l'écriture et au design, des programmes d'éducation musicale et des stages de mentoring d'artistes.

Jeunesse et loisirs

L'entreprise soutient les initiatives visant à faire participer les jeunes à des activités récréatives qui s'alignent sur les thèmes principaux de StockX, notamment les stages de skateboard, les camps de basket-ball et d'autres activités destinées à mettre les enfants en contact avec des programmes sportifs et éducatifs.

Justice sociale

StockX favorise une communauté diversifiée et inclusive, non seulement pour les membres de son équipe, mais aussi pour les millions d'acheteurs, de vendeurs, de fabricants et de créateurs qu'elle sert. À ce titre, nous nous engageons à faire avancer le travail des organisations qui luttent pour l'équité et la justice sociale. En 2020, StockX a égalé les dons des membres de l'équipe à des organisations telles que le George Floyd Memorial Fund, le NAACP Legal Defense Fund et le Know Your Rights Camp, pour un total de plus de 100 000 dollars US afin de soutenir leur travail.
